Horizon Resort apartment

Surely this is not the most beautiful accommodation but it has some kind of standard which I would call okay to stay for 4 or 5 days. I highly recommend to spent the money for a room with a view on that beautiful Sea. Trust me: you won't miss those lovely sunsets where the sky falls to the sea. The resort itself is pretty tidy and nice. There is also a little supermarket in the area. The saltwater pool is probably a good idea for family and children if you think the open sea is to dangerous with all the waves and rocks. Some evenings you can find live music down by the pool as well. Pretty nice performance I'd say. If you go to the sea I recommend to bring your water shoes around. Not necessary of course (I had none as well) but you'll may avoid to get hurt by some underwater stitches or sharp edges (like me^^). In my opinion those rocky seaside has much more to offer than those sand beaches which look like the same or at least very similar no matter where you are. Much love from Croatia. This place as the one chosen by IUSC for the Europula competition, I spent 3 days there. The rooms are good, thé place is Nice and not that far from the center (30 min by walking and 10 min taking a taxi which is cheap). I had a really nice experience there, the staff is always smily and ready to help. There is a restaurant with open breakfast for only 8 euros which is also a really good point.

Great location, views, peace and quiet but the accommodation is really poor. Showers don't work properly, you have to pay for air con, although it's self catering there are only 2 electric jobs to cook on - no oven, grill or microwave, not even a kettle. But plenty of dishes and cutlery if you do manage to cook anything. If I did return to Pula there would be nothing stopping me from staying at Horizont again because value for money is exceptional - but at the same time I'd probably prefer to spend more money to have more quality/amenities.

I spent a week here with my family and I'm very satisfied with the place. The apartment (AIDA) was well-equipped, the staff was kind and helpful, the beach was beautiful and clean. After swimming you can take a shower on the sea side: 5*! Parking the car was every day a challenge because the area is full with cars all day.
