KONOBA MONDO

Truffles! We had a great lunch at the Konoba Mondo a year ago. It's truffle season again and we're at home in Canada where restaurants are featuring truffles and we're having very pleasant memories of eating them within footsteps of where we watched them being hunted. Thanks.

Wow!! Excellent place in a beautiful small picturesque town of Motovun. It is so good that we had to come twice in three days!! I had lamb ribs first time and a steak with truffles the second time, wow, just wow, both of the times it was amazing and the Teran wine sauce is from another world! Definitely worth the price and worth visiting... Also the staff is amazing. Highly recommended!!

Must eat if in Motovun. Excellent food with truffles that is well prepared. Staff is very friendly and offer their knowledge when asked upon. Prices are also very acceptable, especially when you taste the fresh truffles.

I can just say that it didn't impressed me. Despite the high rating, quality of the food or experience was nothing special. The prices are quite high and even location cannot justify that. I would have give it 3 stars but I'm giving it 4 because the waiters were really nice.

Charming and peaceful locale in the antique heart of Motovun serving some of the best traditional Istrian fare around. The homemade fuži pasta is a must.
