Katarina Line Cruises

Booked a cruise for September 2020 but of course its off now because of Croatia going red in the uk dont go list..but we will definitely be going in the spring i must say that the representative maja was excellent allways on the ball and she had no problem moving our deposit to next year very professional ..cant wait ..paul fisher

DO NOT book a cruise with this group. We booked a week long cruise, everything from the levels and types of boats are mis-leading. We had a cruise from and to Split to the islands and as a maritime professional I was flabbergasted. The crew drank all day everyday including the captain and including when underway. There were literally guests sitting with empty glasses at lunch and in the evening and the waitress was running glass fulls of rum, vodka, gin forward to the bridge and galley. We did not receive what was advertised daily and there was no Covid related cleaning, in fact there was no cleaning at all just making the beds. Then at the end they try to inflate your bill and lie about the drink pricing and THEN they ask for a tip for the crew. It could be a comedy sketch if it weren't for the fact that passengers were no doubt in danger if something had happened like an engine fire. NEVER NEVER will I go near this group and if I were to book a future cruise it would be with a proper company on a small Catamaran or something similar where they have offices and boats outside Croatia.

We booked a cruise with Katarina Line and paid a deposit via Cruise Traveller, a travel agent on the Gold Coast in Australia. We were due to go on our cruise in May this year. Before the company cancelled our cruise due to Covid-19, they had advised us via our travel agent that we could get a refund. However, they cancelled our cruise, then changed their mind and will only give us a voucher for this year or 2021. We are a couple in our 60,s and don't feel safe to travel without travel insurance and without a vaccine for Covid-19. We would not recommend this company, as they are untrustworthy, changing their advice about refunds, and they show no flexibilty or compassion for customer's individual circumstances. Our daughter and her fiancee were also booked on a similar cruise at a similar time, and they would like a refund, which has been refused. Both our daughter and son in law are full time students on a limited income, and their refund means a lot to them. We are hoping to be able to travel to Croatia safely at some time in the future, but will NOT be travelling with Katarina Line.

A little disappointed to say the least - a trip of a life time - we sailed from Split to Dubrovnik Crew were really friendly and helpful - boat was a huge disappointment booked on the superior deluxe told that it had been cancelled - not true booked to a group as a tour - then had the front cabin - this is half a cabin due to the round bulk head of the boat- tea and coffee not available unless you buy it outside of meal times - out of date information - a safe that did not work - could not be fixed - very thin scratchy towels - Check what you are booking - had to pay with cash unable to use card- as stated the crew were friendly and they made the trip enjoyable

Have just returned home after a weeks cruise on board MS Admiral. We have had a great holiday and fell in love with Croatia. We have visited some fabulous places, eaten in amazing restaurants, taken in stunning views, shared good times with lovely people and generally had a fabulous time. This type of holiday is one which we would highly recommend. It is important to point out areas where we think the cruise holiday could have been improved, namely the provision of free tea and coffee throughout the day. We also feel that the host could have warned us that many bars and restaurants only accept cash (something that we found out half way through a meal one night). We were disappointed not to spend longer in certain locations but we guess this is all about the times the boat had to be in certain ports. We would sooner have spent longer at swim stops as opposed to hanging around in the morning at Dubrovnik where we were too far from the old town. The upper deck of our ship was wooden and a few people were unfortunate to pick up small splinters in their feet. Be sure to wear shoes! We were also disappointed at the quality of the cocktails served on board. These issues did not prevent us from having an amazing holiday and we will certainly recommend this holiday to friends.
