D'VINO WINE BAR DUBROVNIK

Great wine bar with very fun & informative owner. Lots of great Croatian wine to try. The food is also very good - mainly snacks. The anchovies bruschetta was just absolutely divine. The hummus was also great. The star is obviously the wine - state your budget, preferences and ask for advice. The only problem is that the service is very slow. If you can get the owner then he will give some good tips and conversation but the challenge is he then is occupied for a long time. This during Aug 2020 when there are very little tourists due to the world events happening. So that is my only minor gripe but definitely worth the wait. Highly recommended

We stumbled across this place on our search to find some Croatian wine to try. There was out door seating in the sun although it is located in one of the old towns narrow streets so not sure how long it gets the sun. We opted to sit inside, it was decorated nicely in a rustic European quirky way. Some tables were barrels and it was comfortable and welcoming. We were greeted by a younger girl who was very friendly. We opted for a white wine flight for 60k, this included 3 wines, 50ml of each and a tasting card explaining the type of grape, growing conditions and taste. They arrived and the staff member explained each wine. We also ordered a cheese and charcuterie board which was delicious with homemade breads, olives etc. It was a great experience, so much so we returned twice to try the red wine flight and then to try the other food board which included stuffed peppers and vine leaves stuffed with rice. The last time we went in the girl recognised us and welcomed us back. She talked about how she lived in old town and was very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone :)

A great place for wine lovers. Sacha an Australian wine expert opens this wine bar 10 years ago. Him and Anita will learn you everything you want to know on Croatian wines. The lovely tapas are also not to miss. Thanks for the nice evening.

Great service, good wine, good food. The bar isn't huge. Its cosy and was quite welcoming!
