Dubrovnik Summer Festival

The Dubrovnik Summer Festival will be recognised as the major producer of top-quality events in Dubrovnik, as Croatia’s leading cultural institution, and as one of Europe’s five most distinguished cultural festivals. Relying on  the City’s and its own rich and living heritage, the Festival will continue to promote it’s site-specific programme policy,  combine tradition and modernity, and connect  local, national and international creativity. As a place where people gather together to exchange ideas and create new projects, the Festival will promote Dubrovnik as a Croatian and world spiritual and cultural centre.

Interesting and fun theatre and music happening from July 10th to August 25th in Dubrovnik, definetly recommended to see a theather play on Lovrijenac or Minceta and to listen to fine music in Rector palace :)

Palace and seat of the Croatian oldest theatre, classical music, folklore and dance festival - DUBROVNIK SUMMER FESTIVAL (founded in 1950). Every year from 10th July to 25th August. Productions in unique and numerous ambiental Dubrovnik places/stages. Member of European Festival Association (EFA) since 1956. The Palace (known as "the Festival Palace"), heavily damaged during the Serbian and "Yugoslav People's Army" agression on Dubrovnik 1991 (Croatia Homeland War), has been completely restored and renovated.
