My wife and I stayed at the cottage at the end of a week-long stay in Croatia. And I wish we'd stayed longer at the cottage. It was immaculately clean, very comfortable accommodations, and serene. If you're looking for a place to rest & relax - this is the perfect place for it. It's green space, which consist of a sprawled orchard, grapevines, and a manicured lawn, was gorgeous. It's a short drive to Varazdin, where we ate at great restaurants. If and when I return to Croatia, this will definitely be one of our stops.
Very poor experience. Air conditioning in listing "broken and old" upon arrival in August, no effort made to repair. Stuffy and dark in summer. No piano as shown. Nice river beach 45 minute drive, not closer. Privacy limited, owner apartment below with interior access door. Bed is foam with no support. Owners offered €0 refund at early departure because of extreme discomfort (and did not release calendar dates to seek another booking). Ongoing electrical outages until we left. A truly unfortunate and disagreeable experience. Agreement executed in poor faith.
