We chose this restaurant because of a very high rating on google. We were exited to see that the cute little city of Varazdan has Michelin recommended restaurant. We had high expectations for this restaurant, we even dressed up nicely, unfortunately it turned out to be not to our liking. The restaurant was not cozy. It had a park view but there were so many people in the park, many attractions and loud music. We asked to sit inside, where the decor was minimal, wooden tables, no cloths on the tables, cheap salt/paper/oil/vinegar. I cannot say that It was not clean but I cannot say it was sparkling clean either. Our waitress was very professional and nice. The food was average. Some dishes were good, some were average but nothing was bad. The deserts were beautiful and tasty. The prices are ok, not high but I guess for this city not too little. I think if We had different expectations, we would have seen it differently.

Chef did an excellent job, value for money is on highest level. Ambient is clean, I can recommend it from the bottom of my heart.

Excellent food and wonderful experience. Great service, fine wine selection. Top!!! I Recommend presentation Menü from house, with nice wine pairing. Excellent

Michelin recommendation and affordable prices. What else do you need? I liked the fact that everything we had was somehow connected to the Zagorje region, there was pumpkin oil in my appetizer, soup and main course! Glad they didn't add it to my dessert as well! On the side note, I think there is some room for improvement when it comes to (kind) service, but that's something you are used to in this part of the world. Kudos for the great work you are doing!

Accidentally found this gem. The food was amazing and the wine pairing was even better. We were surprised this is still not a Michelin star restaurant. Definitely coming back.
