As an American living in Hungary, this was the first bar I have spent time in. For starts the atmosphere is very old school in that it's all wood interior from the walls to the ceilings to the booths and there is even a very well made table bade from the large tree , the craftsmanship on the table is exceptional and it is something you might see in a rustic ski lodge in france or lake tahoe . There is a pool table and a foosball table. The pool table is definitely sub par because the sticks are all missing tips and there are missing balls that they substitute with another ball (two #7 balls to make up for it) the machine gets stuck from them to time and there is nothing the bartender can do about it. It costs 200 (in 50 forint coins) forint to play and occasionally the bartender has no change so one night we were unable to play after we ran out of coins. The beer is decently priced and normally the bartender doesn't top off your pint (she leaves a few centimeters at the top) the people who somewhat frequent the establishment are very nice and friendly and love to engage and be friendly with you. The last time I was there it happened to be the bars birthday so the owner came in about everyone multiple drinks which was extremely kind and it shows the thanks he has for it's patrons . I have noticed two bartenders but the one lately seems to have a bad attitude towards foreigners and locals alike. I don't know why but she has no personality and rarely even cracks a smile. I give the rating because even with the negatives the place is rarely crowded and it's a nice place to unwind and enjoy a game if pool or foosball. The bathrooms are clean and lack any foul smell which is always a plus. I recommend checking it out and seeing for yourself!
