Exceptional view of the surroundings from here, well worth the visit. Renovation works are supposedly ongoing, but in terms of the castle itself, there isn't very much to see. It is free to visit, you only have to pay for parking, if you choose to use the castle's parking lot. The are two paths leading up to the ruins, one is a paved road (starts from the left) which takes approx. 7-8 minutes, the other one is through the woods (starts from the right), includes some relatively steep wooden steps and takes approx. 10-15 minutes depending on pace. There is a public lavatory using honesty box, several choices of food vendors, and lots of space for a picnic. There are also tables and benches around the park, in varying state of repair. There are also lots of opportunities here for hiking in the Vértes mountain by the taking one of marked tourist paths. Overall, it's a very good place to visit and spend the day with family or friends.

Unique, forgotten place of the Hungarian defense system. the Castle lost its importance after the Ottoman occupation. The surrounding forest and the mountain Vértes is also a unique place with great views and beautiful landscape. Perfect for one-two day get aways.
