György Takács (02/15/2021)
József Ürményi was particularly careful and frugal in the construction of his castle, a statesman who ran a wide-ranging career, and was content to raise the former priestly house of the Jesuits by one floor. The lower level of the Ürményi-Dreher Castle was a Jesuit convent after the expulsion of the Turks. The braid-style castle was built between 1780 and 1800, probably according to the plans of Austrian master Fidél Kasselik. The braid decorative elements of the U-shaped building and the solution of the middle part of the building with the iron lattice balcony are remarkable. In 1878 the family was forced to sell his estate and castle, which was bought by Antal Dreher. Later, the castle became the property of Jenő Dreher, but it was only used for the housing of landlords. It served military purposes during the war: first it was a German military accommodation and then a military hospital. Fortunately, he avoided the bombing. The former castle has also been used for library and educational purposes since the 1950s. It was repaired in 1961 and then in 1969. In 1961, within the open walls of an agricultural vocational school. Nowadays the castle is closed, not used. He emphasized that according to the preliminary calculations, the development of the castle and the road will cost in the order of HUF 15 billion. At the end of 2021, I would like to announce the construction procurements so that the construction works can start at the beginning of 2022.

It is not a particularly beautiful castle, but it does not deserve this fate. This and the church should be put in order, none of its condition is worthy of the place’s past.
Zsolt Deczki (02/09/2019)
She could have been nice sometimes, but unfortunately she was very neglected, ruined. In fact, the rating qualifies its condition and its carelessness.
Andrea Balogh (07/05/2017)
So pointless that I didn't even take out the camera. If you're on the road, maybe a look is worth it, but that's just not worth it.
Nándor Németh (01/03/2019)
The Castle is very beautiful and there are many things to see
