We were there on Friday night.the waiter was so drunked and rude,that: we asked for fizzy water,brought nonfizzy,asked not cold apple juice,it was freezing.asked a coctail but brought something different,the place had no tea (?!) and he brought gin as vodka.in a top of this,at the terrace area:foreigners left cigarette and sunglasses,he did not warned them just put into his packet and talked rude about guest front of others who left.I'm ashamed to be a Hungarian, do not go there! A top of this,really really expensive.

What a lovely restaurant this is. Had a fantastic dinner on New Year"s Eve ( Hogmanay in Scottish!) Food excellent and the Orchestra playing made it extra special. Staff are very nice too. Worth a visit folks

A must visit if you are in Budapest. The real assess is the ever friendly staff who each of them work there for years, great service, fabulous food and desserts and the best mulled wine we have ever had!

Amazing food and place you will not find a better place

This is the worst place I have ever eaten or experienced! From the our side the restaurant looked beautiful and dishes on the menu seemed appealing... However this this place had the worst customer service and I have traveled all over the world, usually I am understanding coming from hotel management but this utter disrespect for us as customers and disgraceful behaviour means this place should be avoided at any and all possibilities. We were greeted by a lovely lady at the front door, and arrived as a group of 4 adults one pregnant, we were told to sit in a certain table when the restaurant was empty, we asked for a corner table, we were allowed but grunted at by the waiter... Then he came to take our order, took 3 drinks orders and refused pregnant lady orange juice.... I then had to go and ask for my own drink again told no... But then when my boyfriend asked for my drink which was on the menu he proceeded to get it.... then upon return took our good orders, again taking 3 and walking away, I had to get up and follow him to where he was cutting bread and ask could I also order as the orders were not all taken, bread was then thrown on the table and I asked for a risotto item on the menu and was told no I can have the other risotto.... The food came, while well presented the dishes were small and very bland, chicken and duck orders very dry and the risotto dish moreso a side order..... So disappointed with the food we said we would pay and go back to our own hotel for dessert... This is where it gets really bad.... So we ask for the bill.... Told we could not split into two bills, that was fine we understood and paid the money although unsatisfied with the food and service... Then by a different elder waiter upon paying was told WHERE'S THE TIP! Give us a tip.... We said the service was not great and he grabbed the remaining food off the table, then proceeded to call us names while we were putting on our coats to leave, muttering various bad words in hungarian as we walked out the door, I have never experienced such horrific customer service, there was only two tables in the restaurant and at least 6 waiters it wasn't busy and inexcusable bad customer service to then be harassed for a tip and be cursed out of the restaurant! I normally would never review a place but this place shouldi be ashamed of our experience and close if they don't want customers.... Please spare yourself the degrading treatment, so many other lovely places to eat!
