Very nice park, good for walk or do some exercise, walk with your dog.

Clear.
Tamás Nagy (06/25/2020)
With a country head, it looks like a rather noisy, worn-out park.

Bloodfield is a public park in the 1st district of Budapest, in Krisztinaváros. The decay of Ignác Martinovics and his associates took place here on May 20, 1795. His current form was won after the Second World War: a small piece was dropped from the western side due to the construction of the South Railway Station. The former grassy turf, where there were only a few trees at the edge of the field, was filled with debris from the ruined Castle, and in 1948 they began to park. Its tree stock is therefore relatively young but diverse. By the way, tree plantations are still taking place in the park. According to the original idea, a tiny lake would have been formed in the middle of the park, but it was finally not realized. In 1986, at the northern end of the Bloodfield, Imre Varga's sculptor, Béla Kun, was set up in many forms. The sculpture group was demolished in 1991 and transported to the large garden barn. The park's fascination is the Vagon Restaurant, which is an old green rail car set up opposite the Southern Railway Station.
