Great for young & old. Plenty of seating, in sun & shade. Safe water features for young & very young. Plenty of grass, trees, gardens; adjacent the Danube. Fully fenced, so totally kid safe. Toilets too.

Great views. Makes a nice walk and you get some great views of the city and surrounding area but there wasn't a lot happening at the Olympic park when I went. Make sure you take water and sun cream.

Park with the cycles of the Olympic games. Ideal for kids and parents because there is a play ground and the parents can relax a little bit. Also ideal for anyone else, since there are benches and lots of grass thst you can sit and enjoy your day with your friends. There are marbles in the middle of the park and the Hungarian medal winners names' are engraved on those. It's really unique and enjoyable. Definitely you can pass and see it quickly before you go to the parliament which is next to it!

Lovely place, well worth a visit whilst in Budapest with lots of lovely gardens and attractions, small and friendly cafe's that don't charge you the earth.
