This place is well worth the walk up the hill. I just had a great two course meal with wine and palinka for less than €20. The staff were very welcoming on arrival, made a nice table with good views looking over Pecs for me. Both the staff I met spoke good English and the menu was available it English also. I really enjoyed eating here. Many thanks to the owners and staff. Graham.

Casual and attentive service and a smart menu. Quality drinks. You can watch and smell when the food is finished on the grill. Everything was good and the service fast. (unnecessarily fast) Pretty and professional waitress😉

Very good food, excellent service, and amazing atumosphere

The chicken was very dry, there wasn’t any kind of sauce given with the chicken oder the wedges. The wedges were good though, bbq sauce would have been nice. You can only order water, lemonade or wine. There’s no coke and such. They only accept cash.

We had much higher expectations especially considering the location and prior reviews. Table was not cleaned (and table cloth is super cheap, feels like 80s) with several visible spots and debris. Wine choices were very limited. Considering that it is a wine house, it is super weak offering. Rose was not served in a Rose glass and glasses were not matching. We took the single Rose they had and that was good. Service was very very slow. No credit card acceptance (in 2018)... Oh, and a big hole on the floor where another visitor almost fell. Overall, the owner needs to take another look at a place that delivers quality service. It was poor overall experience at best.
