Rétesház & Kávézó + Polya Pince The "rétes" is a very typical sweet in Hungary. It is a very fine puff pastry filled with poppy seeds with cherries or apple, another type is filled with sweet cottage cheese and another with cabbage. They are all very tasty, especially in this small but stylish cafeteria. It has a family atmosphere, as if we were at home, with a small but very pleasant terrace and the “retes” are homemade with traditional flavors. It is a highly recommended place to try these sweets and have a coffee or soda. And if you see that there is no place in the cafeteria, you can enter “Polya Pince” next door and they will take you the “retes” there, since the owners of the two places are a couple. Also, so you can taste Mr. Polya's wine too.

Cottage cheese, cherry and poppy seed strudel are divine. There is also cabbage and apple-plum, my wife says these are also divine.
