Why do you have a phone number if you don't pick it up?

Even if you call them on the phone, you can pick them up on 20 occasions maybe once .... they sit there grinning by the phone and listening to the ringing ... shame behind the counter .... If they were paid based on performance they would still have to pay them back to the employer .....
