Tuboly pince

During my summer vacation in Hungary, the visit at this winery on the top of a hill, with a marvellous sight over the valley, was one of the absolute highlights. The 70 yr old innkeeper and his wife receive their guests with utmost friendliness and great hospitality. For not more than 5000 HUF, that's about 15 €, pro person, you get a good meal, several highpercent drinks and several glasses of different wines. You won't easily find another place like this anywhere else. The innkeeper couple receives one family or one group only at one time, thus, you need make a reservation by phone. Since it's difficult to reach this place high above the valley without a car, the car driver can't enjoy the house-made schnapses and wines, but you can buy bottles, so that the car driver can enjoy the good stuff later at home. It is possible to reach the foot of the hill by a bus, but then you need march up the hill about 2 kilometres, and that requires a good sportive condition. 😊 After all, a visit at the Tuboly pince will be an unforgettable event for you!

A very nice vineyard. The landlord and his wife are very friendly and cook for the guests as desired. Although a schnapps and 5 wines are included in the price, with a good mood it can happen that you get even more. Both the schnapps and the wine are of outstanding quality. Overall, an excellent experience and highly recommended.

Very nice and inviting ambience (quiet and great view). Extremely friendly hosts. Excellent food prepared in the fireplace, very generous (you won't go home hungry there), 3 schnapps and 5 award-winning wines that are served by the vintner couple for tasting (high quality). A really nice experience and an unforgettable day. (Don't forget, you have to book in advance !!!!)

Familiar experience and delicious food in a wonderful setting. All this with great craftsmanship and fantastic home-made pálinka. The hosts are warm-hearted, dear people.
