Göcseji Village Museum, Zalaegerszeg

Small skanzen but very much maintained with its dinstinct charm.

Nice small open-air museum with many typical houses with reed roofs. Unfortunately, the mill is currently under reconstruction. Together with the Museum of Oil and Gas (one entrance fee, one complex).

Was closed on Sunday (mid March) which was a pity as was a lovely day and you'd think the weekend would be amongst their most busiest days. Hope to return again as looks like an interesting visit. Had to settle for feeding the resident donkey some grass instead.

Take you back in history, very well preserved. Recommend everyone take a walk in the village.

Pleasant and educational for young and old to walk around and admire the simple style of country living.
