Camping Gärtnerhof

Nice little campsite at the balaton. Loads of trees and shade. Facilities are old but clean. Pool very clean and nice looking. Owner is super friendly and helpful. Shops and restaurants close by.

Stayed here for one night. Were very pleased by the camping. Owner is very friendly. The camping is not big, but you can find peace and quiet here. The places are marked. Tho its kind of hard to get around on the little rocks with a wheelchair. But I adapted. The bathrooms are clean and quite big so it wasn't hard to get there with a wheelchair. Shower's aren't accessable with a wheelchair, but again u can adapt to it. Whats a big plus is that there is hot water at night and in the morning, which i couldn't say much about other camping's, so i was pleased. There is a pool onsite. The camping and the pool closes at 10 PM, so i couldn't enjoy it, but the surprise was that the water was warm in the morning. The prices are reasonable for what you get! Also the camping is near (200 m) lake Balaton, and the town! All in all, its a great place to spend your time at!

Very small camping for camper vans, but tents allowed too. Nice and clean, small pool add extra value to the site.

Small campsite with marked out pitches, hardcore, some shade. 200 meters from lake Balaton. Easy walk to town. Good facilities, showers, chemical disposal electric all included. Washer/ spinner available. Free internet. Swimming pool of decent size. Some local road noise & odd train passes but not a problem. Gate shuts at 10 p.m. Dog friendly. Would return.
