The absolute best place to get a traditional home cooked meal. Every day they have a variety of different traditional meals, side items, and desserts. The menu offerings change daily. The chef is fantastic, the food is simple and delicious. The food quality is the best I have had in Kaposvar, for all the years I have been traveling here. The dining area is very small and this place gets very busy during lunch time. Presumably because every local person knows how great the food is here. Most customers get the food as take-out. The food prices are surprisingly low and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I am not sure that anyone speaks English in here, but my wife is Hungarian so she always orders. However, all the food is on display, like a cafeteria line, so you can simply point to what you want.

Always friendly, smiling service! Cookies are very delicious and it is important to think of food-sensitive, diabetic (very good all-free cookie too!). Our wedding cakes were also beautiful here, and they were consumed until the last slice!
