Such a lovely place! With super friendly owner and his cute dog! Each room has their own style and the whole place is really just SHANTEE. We stayed in the yurt in the garden which is a first and a very nice experience. Next to it a chill podium with carpets and hammocks hanging to give you some time to lay around and enjoy the vibe... 🕉️☮️ They will wash and dry your dirty clothes, commune kitchen and showers are great too. Will be back and recommend to all! Thank you guys for the welcoming night! Wish I could stay more. ❤️❤️✨

Great hostel, staff was very friendly, the backyard has a great 'away-from-the-rest-of-the-world' vibe with its trees and bushes, makes you feel like you're in a tropical setting! Highly-qualified recommended!

lived in shantee for 8 months, cozy and clean room, perfect kitchen environment and big beautiful backyard, the owner and other guest are super friendly feel like home.

Very distinctive, friendly atmosphere. Very colourful. Great that there's a shared kitchen. Downside is that because the place is so vibrant you can often hear people hanging out quite late into the night. Nobody was too noisy, but it did mean there wasn't the air of privacy that a hotel would have. But as far as hostels go, it is very good.
