Fast accurate service I use them many years ago when I'm in Budapest

I have ordered a taxi in advance (during the evening for a morning ride) and they have cancelled it 10 minutes before the ride. When I have asked them how to get a cab quickly, they told me to call another taxi company and they have dropped the call.

Would give 0 if possible. AVOID CITY TAXI! Charged 8150Ft (£22) for a journey less than 3km. Then charged DOUBLE because It was the evening. Don't take card despite advertising on the cars they do. Scam. Fraud. Liars. I hope Karma pays them a visit.

Double price if taken from the Hungaroring in Budapest! They throw a card in the car as you are closing the door. The card states that the fee is bigger because the taxi is using a VIP road. Didn't see it use one.... also the driver spoke on the phone half of the time. So after all 17 km -> 10 000 huf

Only used them once. The driver seems to have two meters, one for locals and one for tourists like me: mine was a small grey loose one resting on the front of the gear console. the meter was clicking over every 20s. I was suspicious but not certain (i don't normally use taxis), it was only on checking later i found i had been overcharge about 300%. Do not use. The official rates are actually posted on the insides of the windows, so you have to insist on that and stick to your guns (it clicks over every minute or km, whichever is sooner, i think). (Elit Taxi, which my hotel called, was honest, even gave me change without my asking.)
