Many things to see and try. Retro feeling in the social building with old documents lying around. Great for lovers of machines.

Cool new experience of life

Great facility !! Combining an interesting past and present, it presents the former mining !!! There are plenty of underground machines for those interested and what’s important is that there are plenty of interesting and fun programs and attractions for the children visiting there as well. It is not negligible that the facility manager is well prepared in all topics !! 😉💪

The 3rd to 4th hours spent in the museum were very instructive for the family. We got to know the past and present of coal mining. Kind people guided us through the museum area if our questions were kindly answered. We could try the mining railway, we could see the approx. 80 meters into the pit, and we could climb to the top of the chisel lift as well. From here you have a wonderful view of the surroundings. When the new host building is ready we will definitely return.
