Rózsa Sándor Élményház

Interesting little museum about the life of one of the last and most famous Hungarian betyars (social bandits). Could introduce some explanations in english too, but if you are in the area it's worth a visit. In July they also host a nice festival in the memory of Rozsa Sandor. Don't miss it! Great food, traditional music and beautiful national costumes.

A very nice lady led us around at noon on Sunday (she had to be on the phone). "Then I'll say a few words about Alexander the Rose," he said, speaking for almost an hour. 🙂 He told a lot of interesting things, you can see the life-size wax of Sándor Rózsa, there is a small cinema where his life is projected, and a shop selling small souvenirs. Not far away is the "Lipstick Tree", well worth a visit.

We got an interesting, adventurous guided tour.

Great design with ever expanding exhibition. One of the biggest outfitters can follow his life. The lady presenting the exhibition is very kind and helpful. The town is very nice tidy. I'm sure we'll come back here. I recommend to everyone.
