This place was very quirky and fun. Museum alone wouldn’t be worth an €8 euro entry fee but the included magic show makes it a worthy price. The girl who gave us the tour was very sweet and clearly very genuinely passionate about Houdini, which made me appreciate the experience more. It was a really fun and unique way to spend an hour or so here in Budapest.

Nice place, I think children would really enjoy:) It is not big, what I liked was that they provide a guided tour, and in the end there’s magic show

The place is small, just a couple of rooms. However we enjoyed it very much. The visit started from guided tour in museum, covering Houdini's career and based on exhibition items, at the end there was a magic show. Kids liked it very much. Highly recommended. Everyone enjoyed.

The whole visit consists of a brief magic show and guided tour through interesting Houdini-related memorabilia depicting course of magician's life. The collection is really interesting and shows great care in its establishing and maintaining. The guide was also quite passionate about it. As for magic show it was only various card tricks, which left a bit wanting as one could expect Houdini-like escape show. Despite this drawback the magician was really charming and the whole experience worthwhile. Recommended for those who have time and liking for something less serious.
