Nyáras-forrás

2 km from Hetvehely can be found on the K signal marked with KΔ. It is also accessible by the blue directional signposted Sás-völgy. The spring of the lower Triassic age group of the masonry and limestone cracks formed by the well-karstified rocks of the Mecsek (Middle Triassic period limestone and dolomite). The spring's yield is 0.5-15 liters / minute, but in dry periods it shows only slight spillage. The source had long been covered by a well-ring and was supplied with stone-crabs. In 2000 Hetvehely Forestry broke down the old spring and built a new limestone masonry. The Summer House is close to you, with a beautiful large walnut, a barn, and benches in the foreground. Picnic area is a great place.
