Egerbaktai Tőzegmohás Láptavak --- Egerbakta Sphagnum Lakes

A real romantic hiking trail leads there from Egerbakta. It is beautiful in all seasons. In winter and spring you have a better view of the water. In summer it doesn’t look good because of the many coastal bushes. I recommend it to those who like to be alone in the woods.

Three closed small lakes, away from civilization. The Great Lake is difficult to reach because its shore is surrounded by dense scrub. The other two are a little easier to get around. I think it represents a nature conservation value rather than a tourist attraction, but I liked the atmosphere and seclusion of the place. There is a dense forest all the way, dirt roads and trails, no heights or lookout points from where you can really enjoy the view of the landscape. Along the way, however, there are one or two places with nice views, e.g. at this coordinate: 47.966993, 20.320482 From Almár you can approach on a stone-gravel dirt road an approx. 5 km on foot or by car, although there is a barrier on the road which is sometimes closed plus a "PRIVATE" sign. There are also many marked hiking trails and trails around the lakes. The mobile network was stable, 4G speeds went even in the valley on the Telekom network. I'll be back in the summer.
