This museum is quite interesting, but it’s small and there isn’t a lot to see. In the first building there’s a big exhibition related to the artist, but all of it is in Hungarian. We could interpret only so much regarding the theme of each room, which was a bit disappointing, but we were still entertained. The other building is full of sculptures, and they have English descriptions! There’s a biography of the artist on the walls and it’s very helpful; it made the exhibit more interesting and fascinating. This building definitely has my favorite exhibit. I really enjoyed myself.

Nice, interesting exhibition! You can spend at least 2 hours on your visit. A great deal of information can be owned by every visitor! Very worth it! 😊

A good exhibition space is a good idea for selling tickets combined with the Déri Museum.

The Déri Museum has been caring for the legacy of Ferenc Medgyessy since 1977. The Ferenc Medgyessy Memorial Museum was opened in 1982. Significant pieces of the oeuvre are housed in the former “townhouse house” in the Classicist style, built in 1770 - not far from the site of the artist’s former birthplace and a similar porched building. The House of Literature in Debrecen opened there in 2014. "Dreamy Hungarians - Stories from the Debrecen Literature". exhibition presents the lives of famous writers and poets from Debrecen.
