I was only outside, the park looks good even in the winter. I arrived through the red hiking path from Várpalota, I found it easy to reach, most likely because I really wanted to visit it for years.

Everything was allright.

Here is the Earth, that is, the heart chakra of the Hungarians! The amount of memory of the Hungarians that can be found here melts even the most defiant hearts with the warmth of patriotism. Amazing is the "cacophony" of Trianon, the Esztergom Basilica, the infinite amount of the Turul Statue, the Great Hungary Park, the We Don't Forget Buffet and last but not least the combination of the goldfish lake. Really, stop someone while I'm on the dam for my country! The park is nicely maintained, the small miniature building models, sculptures are interesting, the goldfish lake is great fun for all small children, the cheeseburger was perfect from the offer of the Buffet, and the huge fries ... I admit, we expected a smaller portion. There are beautiful hiking areas in the area, including the Burok Valley or the Bükkös Trench. In the former, the huge snowdrop fields were spread like snowy carpets, sometimes interrupted by a couple of also huge onion fields, and the latter, as its name suggests, lined up beautiful beech trees from small carnivores to very thick wormwoods ... although the latter are mostly through the belly. they lie across the road, creating an exciting obstacle course. There are several smaller caves and tombs in the area. There is no field strength at all, so we can enjoy the landscape and nature undisturbed. In a word, I recommend it, it is pleasant, it is perfect for relaxation, it is a great place :)

Without visitors in February, it was lifeless, quiet. A walk in the fresh air in the area is enjoyable.
