Beautiful place, very clean, nice and kind host. She speaks English and Romanian. The breakfast was good and enough for us.

Unless you are a Sheik from Dubai or arrive with a Porsche or Lamborghini, you are not treated well in this hotel. My friend booked the hotel for three nights because she wanted to have a nice relaxing week-end with friends instead of organising a wedding. The lady (supposedly the owner) made her feel inferior right from the beginning and she kept citing very rich guests from Dubai, who gave incredible reviews after the visit. She kept saying that this was a four-star hotel, expecting us to feel privileged that we were staying there. We wanted to use the sauna (yes, in summer) and although they prepared it for us, they insinuated that we were crazy, and because we used more than one essential oil for the sauna the first night, they hid all of them from us the next day. We had to ask for every single thing, and each time she brought us something, she made us feel as if she did us a favour. We were just generally chilling around the pool, but with every interaction we felt as if we were school-children needing discipline. We are all thirty-years-old adults! A couple from our friends have a child and apparently this is the only reason why only they (!) were allowed in the kitchen (which is advertised as shared on the internet), and when she asked for a baby-chair, my friend who organised the trip was told that this was not a child-friendly hotel (even though on Google it is advertised as that). We had to clean the grid from the grill from rust ourselves! Even though the hotel was decend and the ladies at breakfast were very nice, this does not compensate for how the owner-lady behaved. My friend felt humiliated the whole time, she felt as though she was letting us down and every time after we comforted her and she calmed down, something else happened. The whole weekend was somewhat tension-filled, until it escalated into a confrontation, where the lady said she can kick us out anytime. Even though her husband (apparently the real owner) apologised afterwards and at departure she apologised as well, it does not change the fact that this will be something we all remember about the week-end.

Very nice owner, clean, new rooms. Idyllic location.
