Amazing views. Fantastic food - big portions of traditional Hungarian food, and really delicious.

Going from Eszergom on the 11th road, towards Visegrád, at the end of the city you have to turn to the Vaskapu road at a MOL well, which leads to the shelter - lookout. The lookout and at the same time a restaurant, with a careful and attentive drive by car - can also be reached all the way to the roof. In a wonderful environment, the panorama is a fantastic experience, at the heart of which the restaurant itself fits perfectly into the environment and has a great offer of food and drinks. It is excellent for various events, meetings, weddings, etc. It’s for a big event date, for special occasions. The terrace part itself is quite special, which is made unique not only by the unique panorama, but also by the equipment that fits into the tasteful environment. The waiter was seldom willing, polite, smiling. The experience was doubled by his person, information and help. Thanks for! The Iron Gate Lookout itself was a shelter, the history of which can be read on plaques on the wall. Several hiking trails also lead up on designated routes on foot. Going to Eger is a must-see, but I also heartily recommend it as a special destination.

Not bad, but there is still room for improvement. Especially in the kitchen. The "duck roast" was a cooked duck, with only the thighs slightly caught. Think salamander. The two side dishes made with it were tasteless, as was the cooked duck. My colleague ordered a wild boar stew, but it was invented that I could hardly believe my eyes. Approximately when frozen in portions, it is microwaved and scraped on the serving plate. It was full dry with no minimum sap ... The bean goulash and pheasant broth were delicious. The waiters are skillful and direct.

And in my opinion, despite the many negative comments, I had an absolute pleasant impression on both the food and the staff. Almost a full house table was not booked but the waiter told us to take a walk in about 10 minutes. Well, the 10 minutes was about 1 minute, and even the end of the terrace, we barely had time to walk away and were already talking to us to seat. I also took pictures of the beautiful view just suddenly. The service was absolutely kind attentive, I can't connect. We ate soup (garlic cream) and a 2-person bowl. It was plentiful and delicious. I personally recommend it to everyone especially when the temperature is above 20 °! The view from the lavish air is very clear. Simply beautiful!
