The Castle Located on the banks of the Danube River, 60 Kilometers North West of Hungary's Capital City, Budapest. It Has A Great Importance In The History Of Hungary And The Ottoman. The Castle, Dated to the Beginning of the 13th Century, is One of the First Important Buildings Built in Hungary's History. It was the Administrative and Religious Center of the Hungarian Kingdom until the Mongol Invasion in 1241. The Ottoman State seized the Castle that was under the rule of Australians in 1543 for the first time. In 1595, the Ottomans' Compulsion to Surrender the Castle Has Been a Subject to Folk Songs. The Castle, which was reconquered in 1605, was definitely out of Ottoman rule in 1683. Today It Is A Tourist Attraction Center. Esztergom Castle was the Administrative and Religious Center of the Hungarian Kingdom until the Mongol Invasion in 1241. King 4th Trouble Moved the Capital to Budin in 1256 and Left the Castle to the Religious Men. The building where the Archbishopric Office is located is now a museum. The Castle was Overrun by King Ferdinand of Austria in 1530.
