A pictoresque collection of naval technologies, ethnographic items from all over tthe world as inheritance of a captain. Well- suited for parents with children from 4-5 years

It was a fantastic experience. The museum is small, but all the more impressive: ship models, maps, nautical instruments, relics - totem poles, ship 's ornaments, prepared sea creatures dotted the collection from all over the world. The experience is only complete if the person is led by Mr. Péter Mekkey. We were lucky enough to talk to him, he had impressive knowledge and was very friendly, we got all our questions answered. In addition, he is an excellent cartoonist, it is worth flipping through the boatman's cartoon collection :) I also recommend it to families, couples and tourists. Thank you for the experience!

They say Zebegény is the pearl of the Danube Bend, Zebegény is the pearl of this tiny, touching, magical collection. I’ve been slowly coming back here for thirty years and it always enchants. As a child, I had the good fortune to meet the founding ship captain herself, now her daughter runs the museum with passion, skill and lots and lots of love. Fantastic place!

Literally a family man, the handyman, the polyhistor, the daughter of a collecting captain, the museum is run on its own, accompanied by personal stories to the visitors.
