Kuny Domokos Museum is inside the Tata Castle and the entrance is from the backside of the castle. Here you are supposed to buy an entry ticket which costs 500 HUF and it is free for senior citizens. Students get concession. The souvenirs cost around the same price. The staff hardly understand or speak English so make sure you carry the exact change. If you want to photograph or videoshoot inside the museum you have it pay an extra 1500 HUF and you get an identity badge. This museum has sculptures from 2nd century A.D and most of them are devoted to the mythological characters. It also has paintings, antique cabinets, antique furnitures, some specimens of paintings collected from Stone Age (I'm guessing because all of the information was in Hungarian). But I think you have your guides who explain it all to you in English. It's worth a visit.

Great place, the museum was impressed by the porcelain exhibition! The surroundings and the surroundings of the castle are wonderful! All day program for the family!

The castle is wonderful from the outside, but unfortunately it is completely empty inside. Years ago when we were there we were still adorned with plenty of objects. Now, nothing, it was a big disappointment.
