Really clean and modern station with information desk and ticket machines.

Really good experience. Train arrived and departed on time to the minute. Station is clean, modern, easy access and very efficient. Not sure if there were ticket machines but there is an old station building and a conductor on the train. There are half hourly services to Budapest and Back along two routes in the week. Trains were great to and absolutely no issue. Staff checked tickets were helpful and efficient. Couldn’t recommend more. Guard was a bit confused with the student card but it worked in the end.

Nice renovated station. It's a good welcome to the Eszetergom, which city centre is quite a walk away.

I came with my family to this beautiful town from northern Slovakia. Of course, we were speaking mostly English and me also German and some of them Russian. But we don't have to speak Hungarian and the problem was, that the personal at the railway station didn't really speak any other language. We wanted to buy tickets to Budapest, but she started to explain us something we didn't understand and so we had to go by bus finally. Some people, who speak foreign languages are needed here.

Nice and new railway station. All are good except WC in the station. They locked it.
