Theoretically, we bought 2 sofas with a 5-year warranty, one of which, after one and a half years, was badly faded with full use. (The seat was covered in case our son poured something on him). The shop has agreed with the manufacturer, but I can not really represent us. According to the manufacturer, it is largely our fault that we only covered one part of the sofa so it faded to different degrees. (So ​​if not covered, it would be just as ugly everywhere.) It also refers to the manufacturer's Terms of Service, which states that only mechanical parts and feet, etc. subject to warranty. Unfortunately, this was not mentioned in the purchase process, so the 5 year warranty is just a sounding slogan. The manufacturer, after several rounds of consultation, refused to make any constructive contribution to the problem. It should be noted that the shop has raised the cost of re-pulling textiles at wholesale prices, and we also have to pay for upholstery. This is approx. would cost $ 100,000 for a couple of years of sofa. All in all, it seems that both the manufacturer and the shop would only remedy the quality problem with the upholstery as long as it has no negative impact on their own profits. All costs are borne by the buyer.
