Good service. Helpful staff. They gave me my two parcels even when I showed them one message. They are proactive as compared to Posta 100. With all the positives, the infrastructure can be upgraded.

I ordered something from China on Dec 12 2020 which according to the tracking number arrived in Hungary on Feb 1 2021. Because I had not received any notification from the Hungarian post office, I went to the my local post office (8 posta) to ask if it had arrived on about Feb 14, where I was informed that my parcel was at the customs at the airport near Budapest. Today (March 3 2021)I went back to my local post office to ask again and they told me that my parcel had been at their post office (posta 8) from Feb 3 2021 and because I had not picked it up, they had returned it to the sender on Feb 26 2021. What is one to do in such a situation? I have been waiting more than 3 months for my parcel. A/ NO PAPER ABOUT THE PARCEL WAS EVER DELIVERED TO ME. B/ THE OPERATIVE AT POSTA 8 TOLD ME IT WAS NOT AT THEIR POST OFFICE. C/ TODAY I WAS TOLD THAT MY PARCEL WAS INDEED THERE BUT THEY HAD RETURNED IT TO THE SENDER. What kind of a service is the Hungarian "post office"? Why did all this happen and how are you going to compensate me or improve the service so that it does what it is supposed to do - deliver mail?

Honestly, never had any issues here. They don't speak much English (like any service in Budapest which is not a bar/restaurant) but they are quite fast and they try to help the best they can.

I've been there quite a few times and everytime I was well received and had a nice service. Yes, they don't speak that much English but we got along with gestures and few words. All the letters I sent were received and I received all the packages I was hoping for.
