Central mountains in Southern Transdanubia. Northeast and southwest are 46 km long and 10-12 km wide. The highest peak is the Zengo (682 m). According to Nándor Várkonyi, the name of the mountain originates from the fact that Pécs was a barren area because of the limestone of limestone and the grazing of sheep flocks, and it is a popular place for Mecsek.
