It's great general avitation airport with friendly employees.
Not the best of the airports but not the worst either. no drect metro connectivity. you can take a bus that takes you to nearest metro station in about half an hour and is free if you purchase budapest card or public transport pass. both can be purchased at the airport. there is another bus non stop to city center but you will have to pay additional about 950 forints.

Great place to enjoy alone or with family.
Cool place from the past... You can just wander in, and see the planes from up close.
