We visited the place when on a team-building. The staff is friendly and flexible regarding extra requests. The location is just perfect if you plan to have a tour in the local wine-cellar places where you can sit down and enjoy some unique wines tasting one after the other. The rooms are clean, large enough, also the bathrooms. It's clearly seen that the place was designed deliberately to offer a calm and nice environment for a stay in the famous and beautiful city of Eger. There is a huge terrace, which was closed when staying there (winter-time), yet I can imagine how nice this can be during the summer, or even organizing there social events, weddings.

Excellent hotel for the price in eger with free breakfast, walking distance to everything (15 min downtown and two minutes to the valley of beautiful women ) restaurant and bar on site with fantastic and accommodating staff

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on a romantic side trip on our visit to Hungary, and it was wonderful. The hotel is within walking distance to everything, including the train station (although the owner was kind enough to pick us up and drop us back off), the cobblestone town streets and market, cathedrals, and the castle. Rooms have a pretty view and the restaurant has some fantastic Hungarian meals. Breakfast was included. The best part is the hotel is just beside the Szépasszonyvölgy (Lovely Lady Valley), which is a beautiful valley of cellars built into the hills where you can drink the renowned local wine! Definitely try the Egri Bikaver and the Leanyka.
