Eger minaret

Visited Eger in 2019 and this minaret was a fantastic site. Its a narrow, steep climb to the top but worth every step. The walk around the outside is not for those scared of heights but gives an amazing view of this gorgeous city.

Nice historical place dated back in the times of the Ottoman empire. If visiting Eger the minaret is a must see location. The price per adult is 400 HUF and you can stay for 15 minutes in the building. There are 98 stairs to get up and keep in mind the staircase is very narrow, the way up is pretty tight. It's worth to get up for the panoramic views, the minaret gives an uncommon sight of downtown Eger.

They should clearly tell in advance that people with claustrophobia or afraid of small and dark places should think twice before taking part in this activity (if they manage to) I personally took 3 steps and had to abort mission. They kindly gave my money back.

A must do for people able to handle heights and small places

So cool, but not for claustrophobic. Must go there, big challenge but the view and the journey I was so scared about stares but wow
