Elephant House

This place is a former mosque for Muslims when this place was controlled by the Ottoman Empire. Now it has been turned into a soiled shelter for elephants. There is no respect for the feelings and beliefs of millions.

I only visited this zoo to see the beautiful architecture, but l soon became aware that it's not so appropriate to house these poor elephants and more in captivity here today.

Great enclosure allowing you to see the Elephants both indoors and outdoors. When we visited, a baby Elephant had recently been born and the mum was feeding it hay indoors.

More than the half themes where empty !!

Watching an elephant enjoying its bath was life changing. :)
