Gereblye Vendégház

I spent a night at this place on my long-distance hiking tour through Hungary after a long afternoon of walking in the rain. The village of Dedestoplocsany seemed to stretch on endlessly. I was glad to arrive. The man in charge spoke excellent English and was very friendly. He even offered to call a local pizza service and order some food and beer for me - a task I was unable to do myself due my insufficent knowledge of the Hungarian language. I gladly took the offer. The place itslef was nice and cozy. I spent some relaxing hours of reading on the sofas in the lower floor. My room was large, the bed was soft, everything was adequate. For some reason, the Wifi did not work properly on this day. I left early in the morning for a new day of walking.

Back to village life. Silence, calm, peace
