St. Ilona Camping

Pleasant site but totally spoilt by the semi-permanent campers who mostly have two or more yapping dogs. One crapped right outside our pitch, yuch! Excellent restaurant next door.

We had a lot of fun! The hosts are very kind and helpful. The campsite also has a restaurant, we ate very delicious and special, the service was also very polite and friendly. The area is not busy, quiet. There is also a small pool, just good for cooling off in the great heat. There is a grocery store nearby. The washbasins are spacious and clean. We also did ping-pong and foosball, we were very happy to get to know this place, we will come again!

We spent 4 days there, a very well equipped place with a clean bathroom and sink, close to the lookout. We were very kindly received. It is practically the same as the inn, where we ate very delicious, the service was also first class. Highly recommended place.

Spacious, shady tent site. Table football, ping pong, darts, there is also a restaurant! Bathing facilities are provided by freshly built first class showers, at least 6-8 per gender. Good value for money!

One of the best places we've ever been. Sanitary facilities are quite new and were always clean. The pool was cleaned every morning and was always a welcome refreshment. The owners spoke perfect German, were very accommodating and helpful. Free choice of seats and very quiet. If we ever go in that direction again, we will be in this place.
