Hotel Karos Spa

The hotel needs a refurbishment. 4* superior should bring a bit more in my opinion. Nicer rooms, more organized programs in the evenings (also for adults), wider selection of dinner. Otherwise the rooms are spacious and bright. The park around the hotel is nice. Wellness area is ok.

+ Number of indoor and outdoor pools and size of the wellness - Sauna section closes at 5pm and wellness closes at 7pm - No water offering in the wellness but only tiny tap - Piece of glass found in scrambled eggs - Embarrassing visual message (don't take food away) when leaving the restaurant - Lot of ants in the room (5th floor) - The price of the water is truly outrageous - 0.75 l is 1,100 HUF Overall, the hotel doesn't match up with the price and far from the 'superior' category. The wellness offering doesn't match up with the name of the hotel (i.e. "Spa").

Not worth the cost. Nice pools, and big rooms, but worn down. Food not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel....not even close. Can not recommend at the rate they charge

We had a pleasant stay. The place have four 🌟 and it is a four star place. We liked the outdoor pools. The water temperature is just perfect. You can enjoy the nice weather even in the rain. You can find the perfect pool for yourself. You can find multiple pools inside. You can enjoy the saunas. From the 60C to 100C there are many variations. The is a ice chamber and the professional sauna visitors are separated from the casuals. There is pool for the kids and for the older generation. There are many programs for the kids. Two places where they can play. We liked the great playground. The rooms was more OK than great. The rooms are clean and usually have a great views.

They are very-very customer friendly. They payes lot of attention for guests. Some chance to improvements: accept credit card in "Hajóbár". In the apartman building there are 3 possible way to enter. Elevator, 2 door with RF/NFC reader. There were about 12 hours when only 1 door was working. Elevator and other door did not work. Reported to reception they only re-program my nfc tag (and of course this did not help as door sensor had issue). Otherwise very good hotel.
