Alsóvárosi temető, Veszprém

Cemetery of the city of Veszprém with the most beautiful atmosphere. It is located in the city center. It was established in 1803. In a close neighborhood of Queen Elizabeth, near a named park and promenade. They practically together form a public park that is one of the lungs of the city. An asphalted, publicly lit walkway leads through it from the east gate towards the city center to the south gate of the university district. It is also one of the pantheons of the city, as several of the city’s famous natives rest here. 48 Army, Doctors, Mayors, Representatives, Teachers, and members of several of the city’s renowned Families as well. The huge trees and the many flowers and greenery, from spring to autumn, loudly herald the Resurrection of eternal renewable nature.

Because it's in a nice environment, but a bit neglected!

It was renovated very nicely a few years ago. Although it is a cemetery, it has a pleasant atmosphere and is good for walking through, but there are many beautiful old graves here.
