A ruin garden depicting the Roman era was established in the area of the Roman military camp Lussonium. The excavations so far have clarified the extent and defense system of the late Roman fortress. The remains of the Roman military settlement Lussonium are located in the area of Dunakömlőd, which belongs to today's Paks, on the top of the former Bottyán rampart, which rises above the Danube riverbed. Based on the finds (these are exhibited in the City Museum), it is probable that the former auxiliary (auxiliary) backboard camp also stood in this place. The stone fortress is north-south, 249 m wide and 30-50 m wide.

We watched in transit, the kids really liked the watchtower. As we have written before, it is not worth traveling here from the other side of the country just for that, but if you go for it, it is a must.

Tidy park, but information boards are waiting to be renovated.

I think this is a shame for Tolna County. Abandoned, weedy, no information. Of the HUF 330 million EU support, only one tiled garden flush toilet was spent. The information board at the entrance is the only one, but it is also battered and barely legible. Anyway, there are metal sign holders inside the garden, but none of them already have readable writing. The entrance is a maximum reproduction, not even the stone wall seems original. There were plenty of bugs at the wooden gate. There was no info to indicate that you should walk to the end of the garden because there is something you might want to check out. At the end of the garden is a stone tablet, which is incomprehensible. I wonder why no one thought that info boards should be made of a material that can withstand the weather? I do not understand. But at least they didn't take a ticket.

At first glance, nothing special! But if you spend a little time here, you begin to feel the hidden energy of this place! An old information board hangs next to the object from which it becomes clear that this fortification was founded by the Romans in the 1st century AD! The building itself has been slightly restored and mothballed, but under the layer of the new facade you can see authentic stonework. You can touch it with your hands, tactilely feel the spirit of that time ... I can definitely say for sure that this place is charged with its own special energy and, to some extent, it can be ranked as a "place of power" of which there are a lot on our planet! Of course, I would not recommend specifically going to this place, but if you have the opportunity and you are passing by, then you should definitely stop by and get to know it! In addition, there are pleasant views of the surrounding area from there)
