Neat clean with helpful staff. Nothing extra ordinary. Close to good shops and 10 minutes to Metro. Breakfast is reasonable and plentiful.
Great hotel! It has all your basic needs and functions covered and very tidy and clean. I’d love to be back the next time I come to Budapest!

Good location of one is a fanatic shopper. After 8:00pm, even with a nearby casino...pretty mundane. Spears quite safe and international shoppers abound. Every shop, restaurant, safe had English speaking staff.
I do not select a hotel based on breakfast service. The Hotel City Inn has a very good breakfast. The bar, when the desk personnel are prodded into serving, is very reasonable in terms of price and selection.
Housekeeping is GREAT. Those people work diligently and perform admirably. I would have to say that is the case with the entire Hotel City Inn staf... Corteous, considerate and thoughtful that the "guest" standing before then is the reason the have employment. That is with one exception, Zsofia (front desk) was so busy...always focused on the computer, never an eye for the guests.
This cashier (Zsofia) is so intimidated by people/customers that she throws up "I am so busy" front, as to squelch anyone requesting information, assistance, etc. I found her attitude unbearable and moved elsewhere for my remaining three-weeks in Budapest.
