Citadella

Citadella is the Hungarian word for citadel, a kind of fortress.

Hard to go up there, but amazing view

Although the climbing wasn't too pleasant, it was definitely worth it once I reached the Citadella! The citadel is beautiful in itself, but the view of Budapest from up there is absolutely stunning! I'm sure the view is memorable during the day as well, but as someone who has seen it during the night, I'd recommend checking it out once the sun sets and Budapest's lights appear. It'll be a sight you likely won't forget for a long time!
