Grandhotel Galya

The staff are really great. The chef came out at dinner this evening to ask about the quality of the buffet ensuring there was something for every dietary requirement. The hotel is aging a little but perfect for the large conference were attending. Really enjoyed the spa facilities, sports massage, and grounds. The fresh air and mountain surrounds make a lovely change from London.

Beautiful place. Spa is pretty good (indoor and outdoor sauna) Food could be improved. Hotel rooms could use some general tune-up/renovation.

Fresh air. Beautiful nature. Nice park. Good animation programs. Great history, nice stories but now it not worth 4+ starts, 3 is too much for them. Serious problems with cleaning and tidiness. Especially toys in the children's play room and other accessories for children (eg. baby chair in the restaurant). The baby bed was broken. It seems they don't like children, but in this case they should deny bookings with children. Kitchen was good enough, but when I asked for about one the Wines of House, they refused to answer. Then rumored about my questions among each other. When asked for real hot water for my tea the waiter brought it grudgingly. Most of our waiters was rude by default. Swimming pool was small and dirty. The parapet on balcony was ramshackle and dangerous. The room safe not worked. The final invoice for accommodation was much higher then agreed previously. Hunguest has much better hotel then this... Visit date: autumn of 2015.
